Dr. Ricardo Lopez is one of the few board-certified orthopedic surgeons in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with over 20 years of experience and highly regarding among his colleagues.

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Lopez performed his orthopedic and traumatology training at IMMS, one of the top medical institutions in Latin America and most important in Mexico. He is a resident of Puerto Vallarta and a pioneer in arthroscopic and joint replacement surgery in this region.

In the year 1999 Dr. Lopez started his private practice within the most prestigious hospital system of Puerto Vallarta, Hospital Medasist where he has performed over 8,000 surgeries. Throughout his career, Dr. Lopez has served as professor and chief of surgery for both private and government institutions.

Dr. Lopez enjoys to go to the beach with his family in his free time, he feels energized by the ocean and wishes to use his passion, knowledge and experience to help his foreign patients.
