We understand the anxiety that may come from traveling to another country for your health care. That is why we will do everything in our power to make sure you have the most comfortable and enjoyable experience with us. From the moment that you contact us you will be assigned a Patient Case Manager who will be in constant communication to guide you through the entire process.

To help you along, we’ve outline the process below to get you started:

Learn about a medical condition and treatments in our HWBazaar website. Find out which doctors in our medical tourism network specialize in the condition and treatment of your interest and learn about their costs, location, experience, and credentials. This is a great starting point to get general information on the treatments that we offer, who our medical providers are, and the location and costs of their practice.

Create an HWBazaar account in our website to take advantage of our powerful and easy-to-use system. With your secure HWBazaar account you will be able to save favorite doctors, submit multiple inquiry requests, upload and download medical records and files, complete your medical questionnaire, and view invoices to make payments directly on our website. Our team will contact you within 24 hours after receiving your inquiry request to discuss your case and walk you through the medical tourism process and options.

If we're not immediately available, you can leave your name and number and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

On our first conversation we will ask you a few questions to assess your clinical picture and may request any radiological images or medical studies that will help us complete your diagnostic. Our team will answer all of your questions regarding medical conditions and treatments, medical tourism packages and costs, our doctors and destinations, and itineraries and availability.

Once we have talked with you, we will most likely need a copy of any X-Rays, MRIs, CT Scans, or any other studies you have done. You will be able to upload these files directly to your account so we can view them in real-time or you can mail them physically to our US mailing address. These studies will help our medical team complete your diagnostic and confirm recommended medical treatment. If you don't have any, don't worry! Our team will give you many options on how to get these done in the most efficient and cost effective way possible.

We will review your analyses with our medical team as soon as we receive them and schedule a no-cost/no-obligation phone consultation to go over our completed diagnostic and recommended courses of action. At this point we can confirm or revise the preliminary assessment given during our first conversation.

Our goal is to provide you with the most complete and accurate information available on your medical condition. Once you have all the information and understand all of your options, you will then decide if you want to proceed forward with Health & Wellness Bazaar and which provider and destination to choose. If the decision has been made to get medical treatment done through our network, we will begin the process of scheduling your treatment and helping coordinate your travel logistics. We are partners with a number of hotels across all of our destinations and are more than happy to help make reservations for you with our preferred discounted rates. Additionally, we will schedule all of your on-site transportation, including airport pick-up and drop-off, so you don't have to worry about anything other than enjoying your journey to recovery.

Once we have scheduled your medical treatment with your preferred doctor at the destination of your choosing, we will send you an invoice through our system for a confirmation deposit to secure your appointment. Deposits are generally 30% of the total cost and can be processed directly through your HWBazaar account under the billing section. Our team will answer any questions you may have on this topic and will work with you to make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.

Your Patient Case manager will be in constant contact with you to help you prepare for your medical vacation. We will provide you with a detailed checklist of everything you need to bring with you along with a detailed itinerary during your stay. If your medical treatment requires any modification in your diet or physical activity we will let you know in advance to assist you in this process.

Upon arrival at your medical destination, our team will meet you at the airport to drive you to your hotel. We will give you a detailed itinerary for your stay to include all dates, times, and locations for your treatment. We will coordinate transportation to take you to all of your appointments. On your visit to the clinic you will be taken through the clinical steps very similar to what you may be used to at home. Your doctor will meet with you to discuss your case prior to beginning your treatment and on the day of your procedure you will be taken into the prep and operating rooms for pre-surgery checklists. You will then have your procedure as scheduled.

Following the surgery, you will recover either in one of our recovery rooms overnight or you will be discharged to return to your home country or to a local hotel for recovery (varies by procedure).

During your recovery, depending on the type of your procedure, we encourage you to partake in tourism activities to help you relax and enjoy your medical vacation. We want you to have a full mind and body connection to achieve a successful and speedy recovery. Our team will be happy to assist you on anything during your medical vacation with 24/7 on-site support.

Depending on your medical treatment and the length of your stay, we will schedule post-op checkups and rehabilitation with your doctor to monitor your progress and ensure a successful recovery. Talk to your Patient Service Specialist about these options to tailor your medical tourism package to your needs.

Before returning home, you will meet with your doctor one last time for a final checkup and to say goodbye to our medical staff, we will miss you! We will provide you with any medical documentation and medication you may need to return home. Our team will drive you to the airport for your departing flight, if you have any special requests please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

You Patient Case Manager will be in continuous contact with you to check on your post-op progress and answer any questions you may have. All of your medical records, radiological images, post-op reports, post-op instructions, and invoices will be available to download on your HWBazaar account. We ask that you please stay in contact with us to provide all of our support toward full recovery.
