Abraham was my driver and he was always there when I needed him and always so nice and friendly!! Received the best care from the nurses , to the cleanliness of the resort/ rooms to the wicked food to everything just being so organized, all of it , was a 5/5 for sure!!Posted on Michelle McLachlinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Appreciate him immensely.Posted on Belinda WeichersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. HWB was an amazing experience. From the time they picked me up at the airport, to surgery , to recovery, then back to the airport. The staff Abraham our driver and Alaina were so kind and caring. Everything went very smooth . I didn’t have to worry about one thing. I had Dr Marco Rodas perform my surgery. . I will be back in February for a second round. Thank you to all the staff at HWB and Zen recovery .Posted on ANGELA HALLTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Abraham was the best! After he took us to do the pre-op blood work, he took us for the best tacos! The flavors were phenomenal and his service was impeccable ! Great conversation and he even took us for a grand tour of Tijuana! Loved our time there ! Hands down the best!Posted on Cynthia DTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m updating my review to report that I had my revision with my same doctor Dr. Nares and it came out perfect. I wanted to thank Dr. Chavez and Dr. Nares for your help during my complications and for always staying responsive. If I have any other procedures I’ll be back 🙂 Also want to give Abraham huge praise, he’s always such a joy and so accommodating I had a tummy tuck, lipo and fat transfer on 7/2024. I’m giving 3 stars because there’s some aspects of the experience that were amazing and others that truly missed the mark. -getting information and a quote was really simple and pricing was competitive with the area. Reviews seemed great. - it took me over a month to get my FMLA paperwork filled out correctly. I had to call and follow up constantly. For a while they would say the Dr was working on it but it turns out she was on vacation and no one informed me. The doctor was very helpful when she was back to help me get it resolved. -companion fee. When I video chatted with the girl giving me all the info (who I was informed was no longer with the company) had informed her I was going to bring my mom as a companion and she never advised me of the extra cost nor was this put on the invoice when I went to post final payment. After arguing with someone who told me I was told even though they weren’t on the video chat and it wasn’t on the final invoice their manager helped me and was honestly very nice. -The drivers were exceptional. I have zero complaints. We were picked up promptly and brought to the office to finalize paperwork. From there Jaime took us to get delicious tacos and run some errands. Both lovely people. -the “hospital” where you stay the first night is my BIGGEST complaint. After paying the companion fee and being assured my mom would be accommodated I was beyond annoyed to see that I was put in a room with someone else and my mom was given a CHAIR to sleep on! Absolutely no privacy and rooming with my mom and a stranger. I went to shower that night and the shower door literally shattered on me resulting in 2 hours of shards being combed out of my hair and a couple of stitches on my foot. The compensation? A vitamin c IV. I honestly was insulted. The nurses and doctor on staff after the incident were rude and I could hear them gossiping in the hallway. I honestly was so uncomfortable at this point to continue with the surgery. But I did go through with it. The next day I had surgery and had to spend one more day afternoon at this center. On this day my mom was told to step out of the room so the doctor could talk to me and they then moved another patient into the room without letting us know what was going on. I had just had surgery and was so upset and confused. The nurse literally couldn’t be bothered to help me walk to the person who was helping me into the van. One day after surgery. This place was literally the WORST! - on to some positive. The recovery center was absolutely amazing. The nurses were so helpful and sweet and the food amazing. Felt so well taken care of and they treated my mom well unlike the last center. -sadly my wound separated in the middle I’m not sure why but I ended up getting an infection and needed wound care which I’m just now finishing end up September. My scar honestly looks horrible and I have an indent in my abdomen. With having an open wound on my belly I wasn’t able to stay off my behind like I would have liked to and I feel like I lost a lot of my fat transfer results. I’m hoping to have a revision once I am healed. -lastly I’d like to thank Dr. Chavez and Dr. Nares for keeping in contact and making sure I was okay during my healing. The fact that they didn’t just dismiss me after my complications really meant a lot and said a lot about their integrity. I think most of the bad experience and failures came from employees that were fired and the surgery center. Will update rating if I get a revisionPosted on Bradley BryanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just got back to Phoenix. Dr.Rodas was my surgeon. I got bbl, tummy tuck, and lipo 360. I feel good and the plane ride was not bad at all. Jaimie and Abraham took care of all my travel. The recovery house was like nothing I have ever experienced before. I had dental appointments while in Tijuana. Everything was coordinated for me. I just had to show up and let Zehida work her magic. The price with health and wellness bazaar is less expensive than going through the hospital.Posted on Serrafina LovelessTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I will update as the surgery happens: Consultation: so far the consultation process was easy.. I'm left thinking.. shouldn't I be running around all crazy preparing for this surgery? I sent in pics, I did a Google meet with esephany and Michelle ( i think? Sorry, I'm not good with names). But the overall vibe of the conversation was good, I'm a really vubey type of person 😁✨ I was sent a link to walk in lab, it had to be the easiest way to get my labs done. I thought I was going to have to schedule an appointment with my doctor.. and her schedule is always backed up. I got my labs done and submitted back in less than a week. So, I'm all good to go. I have looked at Doc Gonzalez 's before and after gallery, and I'm impressed. I'm going for a face lift this December.. I'm 51 years old ( I don't look it 😉) and I want to lift my cheeks and look 30 again to match this rocking bod, lol! 😄 So everything is scheduled..flights, recovery house.. they are supposed to reach out to me closer to surgery with my itinerary.. I will keep you all posted, PLEASE STAY TUNED 😁✨ Heyyy.. i meant to update this.. HWB took better care of me than when i had Lipo done in Miami! They were clean, their staff were amazing, my results were awesome.. ill even post some pics.. these are pics of the same side of my face put side by side.. I was going to return for another procedure but had an emergency and could not go through with it... I highly recommend health and wellness bazaar with all my heart! From start to finish the experience was AMAZING! Oh, i had a face lift! 😁💕Posted on Elise BuzzellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am officially two weeks post-op and feeling coherent enough to write my long-winded review. HWB was amazing. This was my second trip to Tijuana for the purpose of medical tourism and I thought my first experience was great but I was blown away by this trip. Everyone I spoke to in order to plan the trip was kind, supportive, knowledgeable, patient, and so pleasant. Zehida was my main patient care coordinator and she took such care to make sure that my companion and I were comfortable for every leg of this journey. Both drivers, Abraham and Jaime, were fantastic; they took us to and from the airport with ease, and following the procedure, made sure to limit bumps in the road and make transportation as easy on the healing body as possible. They were also great conversationalists who made us feel so safe and welcome! It is clear that they work hard because they love what they do and the people they help. Dr. Nares was my surgeon and Dr. Chavez has been my aftercare doctor. Both are clearly experts, and already, I'm seeing the steady and precise work that went into my procedures. Dr. Chavez came to visit me almost every day during my recovery and made sure to answer questions thoroughly with such a gentle touch. She is still emailing and texting me frequently to make sure I am healing well. My nurses, however, I owe the BIGGEST thanks to. My primary nurses were Rocio, Gabriel, Lily, Jacqueline during the days, and Ana covered the night shifts every night I was there. I felt taken care of in their hands. I am not a deeply trusting person and I am usually too independent/private for my own good, so it was hard to imagine needing genuine 24 hour care. But considering I was virtually an invalid for the first week who couldn't even get in and out of the bed by myself, much less dress and shower, I never once felt awkward or nervous around any of them. The team here is incredible and you can tell just how much they care. They are so, so kind and so, so genuine. They all did their best to communicate with me given the language barrier, and I wish so much that I had practiced a bit more Spanish before I went, just so I could've chatted with them better, as they were all so lovely. I could gush about these five individuals for DAYS if someone let me! Other highlights include 1) the food: three meals and two snacks a day that were both healthy AND delicious. 2) A beautiful, CLEAN facility that was so relaxing and welcoming. 3) the massage therapist Angie was gentle and kind and SO generous/thorough. You could tell she was never rushing or counting down the minutes and took as long with you as you needed. 4) The laundry services and the shampoo/conditioner there. I know this is a small thing but it was such a relief to be able to pack light. Plus everything smelled GOOD and when I say my hair felt tangle-free and the soap lathered so well!! It is clear they did not just opt for the cheapest stuff like they might here in the US! 5) The hotel accommodations were absolutely GORGEOUS. My companion and I even joked that we might just come back to stay in the hotel for a few more days! All in all, I would give my experience higher than five stars if I could. This operation is full of some really wonderful people who care about the people in their charge. If you're someone who is nervous about medical tourism because of the things you've heard, please know that this facility is not only legitimate, and not only is it cost effective, but they have taken far better care of me than any care I've received in America. P.S., my companion will be writing a review, too, since - you won't believe this - Dr. Chavez and Dr. Gonzalez were able to address a health issue that she had been trying to deal with in the U.S. since OCTOBER. They were able to see her and FIX IT in less than a week because she was already there (for less than HALF the price, mind you), and again, because they CARE about the patient! If that isn't a dedication to medicine and to your patients, then I don't know what is! A+ and alllllll the gold stars for HWB!!Posted on Arianna BarnickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had the best experience with H&W Bazaar. I visited from Canada for tuberous breast correction with implants and I couldn't be happier with my results. As soon as I landed everything was taken care of from being picked up from the airport. My surgeon was Dr. Illich and I'm so happy with the work he did. I am usually terrified of having surgery and am extremely sick after, this is the first time where I woke up feeling great and wasn't sick once. The meals and snacks throughout the day were always delicious, and the nurses were all so lovely. I got to walk around Tijuana with one of the drivers for souvenirs which was so nice after resting in bed for a few days. My aftercare physician Dr. Chavez has been wonderful on keeping in touch with me as well as answering any questions I had. 10/10 recommend!Posted on Oxana ReshesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a full facelift along with upper and lower blepharoplasty, and my experience was exceptional. Dr. Rodos was incredibly informative and made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process. After conducting thorough research, I chose Health & Wellness Bazaar and could not be happier with my decision. I highly recommend them for any medical needs. They maintained constant communication with me every step of the way, ensuring I felt supported and informed. A special thanks to Zehida Diaz—after my video consultation with her, I knew I had found the right place. She went above and beyond, visiting me at the recovery home almost daily. The aftercare was excellent, and even after I returned home, they continued to check on my progress. The recovery house was fantastic, with healthy and filling meals provided daily. The aftercare doctor visited every day to monitor my recovery. Although I initially had concerns about language barriers, I quickly realized there was no need to worry—everyone on staff spoke English and was incredibly helpful. Overall, I can’t say enough about the outstanding care I received at Health & Wellness Bazaar. The drivers, staff, and medical professionals worked seamlessly together to create an environment of trust and comfort. In summary, my experience was remarkable. The exceptional treatment, continuous support, and attention to detail made my journey both positive and memorable. I highly recommend Health & Wellness Bazaar to anyone seeking compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services.
